PRP for Hair Loss
Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is a three-step process that uses the patient’s own blood to promote hair growth. Blood is drawn from the patient’s arm then spun to separate into three layers – platelet-poor plasma, platelet-rich plasma, and red blood cells. The platelet-rich plasma is put into a syringe and injected into certain spots on the scalp to promote hair growth. PRP has been shown to help nearly ALL types of hair loss. For optimal results and hair growth, treatments are required every four to six weeks for six to twelve months, with some maintenance appointments every so often. We offer single treatments and packages of four.
