Chemical Peels Eugene OR

Types of Facial Chemical Peels

Chemical peels are helpful for wrinkles, light acne scarring, and irregular pigmentation such as freckles and age spots. Pre-cancerous conditions such as keratoses (thick, rough, reddish growths) also respond well to this procedure.

Cascade offers several types of chemical peels:

  • Light peels to remove superficial wrinkles
  • Medium peels
  • Deep peels for more severe conditions.
  • Acne peels
  • Jessner Peels
  • Cosmelan Peels by Xtetic

After thoroughly cleansing the skin, a small applicator is used to apply the chemical solution to an area of the face. Excess solution is removed and the procedure is repeated in other areas.

The amount of improvement varies and depends upon the initial condition of the patient’s skin. Significant improvement of damaged skin has been achieved, which can produce dramatic results.

Most chemical peels are recommended in a series of 4-6 for best results.  Join our monthly VIP Membership or inquire about package pricing.  Consultation is required before any chemical peel is applied.

Cosmelan Peel by Xtetic

The Cosmelan peel is a thick peanut butter-like cream that is used to depigment the skin and reveal an even complexion on the face. This is a great option for clients who wish to treat melasma, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, sun spots, acne scars or freckles and is suitable for all skin tones.

The application of the peel is relatively quick and painless, then our esthetician will give instructions to leave it on for 8 to 12 hours. Clients will remove the mask at home and be given a product kit that will be used to maintain the results from the peel. Three weeks later we will have you come in for a second application of the mask which will act as a spot treatment.

Clients should avoid sun exposure for two weeks prior to treatment, and for two to three weeks after treatment. Clients should expect mild-redness five to seven days following the treatment, with peeling beginning around day four or five.

The results from the peel will last a year and it is recommended to do this treatment annually as needed.

Get that beautiful, healthier skin you've always wanted!

We always look forward to helping you with any skin care concerns.
